Kick off the Holidays with Dennis Vineyards
Tucked away in the pastoral countryside of Albemarle, North Carolina, Dennis Vineyards produces some of the area’s most memorable wine.
Known for their innovative use of the Muscadine varietal, Pritchard Dennis and his son, Sandon, have built their business on an undying affection for creating a quality product. Their early success with the Muscadine grape “Carlos”–and the superb white wine they produced–led to a following with wine lovers across the state.
What began in 1996 with 200 muscadine vines quickly became a venture with a waiting list for the magical Carlos white wine, leading to 800 vines on four acres by 1998. Since 1997, the winery has grown from producing 2700 bottles to 275,000 annually.
At the same time, the Dennis team has expanded their offerings and produce a well-rounded selection of wines, from the light, fruity Carlos to the semi-dry Naked Noble and delightful Sweetheart.
Dennis Vineyards offers special events year round. Besides their tours, they also host private events for their club members. In the upcoming weeks, they will be hosting a wine sampling in Fayetteville, at the Crown Expo Center, on November 5-8, at the Holly Day Fair. They will also be in Charlotte, at the Southern Christmas Show, November 11-22nd.

Swan Creek Vineyards Harvest Festival
The Vineyards of Swan Creek, located in the Yadkin Valley, will be celebrating their Harvest Festival this weekend, October 10-11th.
Tour all five of the Vineyards of Swan Creek and enjoy two days of wonderful, award-winning wines, great music and entertainment, complimentary seasonal refreshments and great gift ideas while overlooking the beautiful and scenic Swan Creek.
Entertainment will be part of the festivities at all the vineyards. At Raffaldini Vineyards, special events include operatic performances by soprano, Michelle Evans Jarrell.
There is no admission fee. Wine tastings at each vineyard are $5.
